Bible Reading: Psalm 19:1-4

Memory Verse: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

The song writer wrote: Count your blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done. Here we are at the last quarter of the year. Thank God for the preservation of life. But, it is wisdom to take note of one’s life. You must not only live but truly live. You must not only live but you must make impact. However, the magnitude of your impact is proportional to the quality of what you carry! A Professor can teach Ph.D. and Masters degree students because he has gone ahead of them but a university graduate cannot do that. So, you make more impact as you develop yourself.

Let me ask you a question? What value have you added to yourself since the beginning of this year? Divide your life into these various headings: academics (school work and extra-curricular activities), personal walk with God (your holiness level, attitude to your quiet time), personal work for God (your attitude towards evangelism and other ministerial works), leisure (rest and social activities). Can you say you are continuously improving and getting better? When last did you read your Bible for one hour? When last did you speak in the Holy Ghost for at least one hour? When last did you evangelize personally? When last did you intercede for lost souls, broken homes, nations and governments across the world? If your must grow, you must examine yourself daily. Always remember you are a soldier of the Lord and not a civilian. Woe to him who is at ease in Zion. A sincere answer to this personal questionnaire will tell you where you are in the agenda of God for your life. Go the extra mile. Break the status quo.

Quote: God does not change but He changes things.

Prophetic Decree:  I curse physical and spiritual stagnation in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

  1. Holy Ghost, anoint me for greater exploits today, in Jesus name.
  2. I shake out every physical and spiritual lukewarmness, in Jesus name.
  3. Holy Spirit, give me fresh oil in my lamp and keep me burning.
  4. I curse the activities of fire extinguishers in my life, in Jesus name.
  5. I receive a new heavenly vision into my heart, in Jesus name.
