Bible Reading: Psalm 121: 1-3

Memory VerseWe are like clay jars in which this treasure is stored. The real power comes from God and not from us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 (CEV)

In this year 2021, I want you to make up your mind to look only to two places: Look up to God and look within yourself. Yes, you have a reservoir of grace lying untapped within you. Many are looking for a job while jobs are actually resident within them. This beggarly spirit of always running to people for help must stop in Year 2021. That’s not honourable. When God was about to send Moses out for an assignment, he did not give him anything new. He made use of the same shepherd’s rod Moses was accustomed to. God will always start with what you have be it in business, ministry, your profession or what have you.

Similarly, God did not give David anything new in his fight against Goliath. The armour of Saul was untested and too heavy for him to carry. David simply used the sling and stone he was used to. Please understand this principle. Gideon’s case was not different. God simply told him: Go in this your strength. That skill you learnt and you are not paying enough attention to may be the key to your major financial breathrough if well harnessed. Start from where you are on the way to where you are going. Believe in God and you must also believe in His endowment in your life – your skill, gift, and talent.

You’re not created to beg for food. No! You’re not created to hustle all your life. Everything God begins starts small but enlarges in the process of time (Job 8:7). Who told you can’t make it? Your foundation cannot stop you. Your background must not rename your destiny. Esau trivialized what he had and he lost a covenant. Everything needed to be mighty was inside the birthright but Esau, being a profane person wouldn’t see. Consequently, he lost his destiny to Jacob his twin brother. There is something in your hands and the anointing of the Holy Spirit is waiting to come upon it.

BE A PART OF WHAT GOD IS DOING IN THIS GENERATION. PARTNER WITH THIS WORK OF GRACE TODAY. CHECK PAGE 93

Quote: Winners were not born winners; they learnt and practiced how to win and they have it! Everyone who gives a great testimony about his/her life begins with a beginning that was “inadequate” until something happened… and a breakthrough became evident! – IsraelmoreAyivor
