Bible Reading:  1 John 2:15-17 (TLB)

Memory Verse:  For all these worldly things, these evil desires—the craze for sex, the ambition to buy everything that appeals to you, and the pride that comes from wealth and importance—these are not from God. They are from this evil world itself. 1 John 2:16(TLB)

Please read today’s memory verse very dutifully. There are two types of systems that govern the earth: The God system; which is governed by the Holy Words of God as contained in the Bible and the World system; which is governed by Satan, the god of this world.

There are three pillars upon which the world system stand according to 1 John 2:16. They are: a) the lust of the flesh b) the lust of the eyes and c) the pride of life. All the evil that was ever done and will ever be done are classified under these three (3).

What is lust? Lust is an overwhelming desire or craving. Lust is an excessive obsession over something. Lust is an intense negative eagerness or enthusiasm. Lust is a strong sexual desire. A large physical attraction for an individual, that is sometimes uncontrollable and completely unreasonable E.g. Amnon and his half sister in 2 Samuel 13.

Quote:   The one who lust is lost.

Prophetic Word:   Let the rope tying you to the world catch fire, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

  1. Satanic rope tying me to the world, cut off, in Jesus name.
  • Hoy Spirit, sanctify and prepare me for Your use, in Jesus name.
  • My Father, circumcise my heart, in Jesus name.
  • Every negative picture of the world in my heart, be washed away by the Blood of Jesus.
  • My Father, cut me off from every unfriendly friend, in Jesus name.
