Bible Reading:  Galatians 4:1-2

Memory Verse: For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

Good day friends. I will want us to consider our memory verse from the Holman Christian Standard Bible version. It says, “For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us…”  You have been “born for us” into this world but that is not enough. What do you have to “give to us”. Anyone could be born! There are legitimate and illegitimate marriages, coincidental children, children born out of fornication e.g. Jephthah. His people called him a bastard. Nevertheless, the ultimate question still remains what do you have to give back to life?

Listen, if you are given that leadership position in your school, church or group, what have you acquired which you can contribute meaningfully to bless many lives? You cannot give what you do not have. The Bible cannot be broken. It is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. There is a computer term called GIGO meaning Gabbage-In-Gabbage-Out. It means what you input into a computer that the computer processes and give back to you! Such is life!!

Prayer Focus

1. Holy Spirit renew my mind daily, correct my orientation of every negative perception, in the name of Jesus.
2. Holy Spirit, empower my mind to think like Christ in Jesus.
3. I receive a right mind in a sound body, in Jesus name.
4. Turbulent powers working against God’s expectation for my life, die, in Jesus name.
5. Power of rising and falling, die, in Jesus name.
