Bible Reading: 1 Kings 17: 10-16

Memory Verse: For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the land.1 Kings 17:14 (NIV)

  1. A third generation disciple of the great Prophet Babalola shared a testimony of  miraculous supply of God borne out of a prophetic decree from the mouth of the prophet. In those days, the great Apostle called seven of his disciples. He told them casually, “Let me go pray quickly.” They knew they were in a ‘holy trouble’ because that casual prayer may likely last for many days. Before he went for the impromptu prayer retreat, he gave them a loaf of bread and told them, “Keep eating till I come back”. And, off he went! Later that evening, the disciples were hungry, then they remembered the loaf of bread.

They ate half of it. On the next day, they expected the return of the great Apostle but still, he didn’t come back. They decided to eat the left over loaf of bread from the other day. They discovered it had grown back into a full loaf again. This continued to happen until the seventh day Apostle Babalola returned. Puzzled whilst the Apostle was singing and baffling in the aura of his prayer retreat, they asked him what happened to their loaf of bread.  He responded, “But I told you, ‘Keep eating till I come back'”. Friends, miracles are still real. While we preach principles, we must not forget the place of the supernatural supplies.

  • A mother with her three children were involved in a ghastly motor accident. Herself and her first two children only suffered a little injury. The youngest child in particular was severely wounded, especially on his head. She brought out her tithe remission card given to her as a tither in her Church and challenged God to remember her covenant sacrifice and His covenant blessings in Malachi 3:9-11. She told God the death of her child will not bring glory to His name, and is not part of his promised blessings according to the aforementioned scripture.

Three hospitals rejected the young lad, and several neurosurgeons didn’t want to attend to him even as she cried and begged frantically. One of them reluctantly agreed. Soon, the young boy passed out. The mother prayed all night to God until life entered back into body of the little boy. He woke up to ask for a plate of fried rice and chicken. The miracle working God stepped in; even as he wiped off the shame of her daughter. Miracles can be provoked. What sacrifice are you raising as an incense to heaven which God can remember as a token of divine remembrance in the day of trouble?

Quote:  Only believe. All things are possible!

Prophetic Decree: Anti-miracle altar of your father’s house shall crumble never to rise again, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. O God of miracle, make my life a life of miracle, in Jesus name.

2. O Lord, make the supernatural natural in my life, in Jesus name.

3. My going out and my coming in shall showcase the supernatural wonder of God daily, in Jesus name.

4. O Lord, remember my covenant sacrifices as a token for provocation of miracles in the day of trouble, in Jesus name.

5. Grace for supernatural supply in life and ministry, overshadow my life, in Jesus name.
