Bible Reading2 Corinthians 13:5, Romans 8:26

Memory Verse:  Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you… Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT)

Other aspect of your self you must know include:

3. The Blind Self – “What Others Know But You Don’t”: These are your blind spots, which include your attitudes, behaviours, or limitations you don’t even realise exist.

Without personal development, you’ll keep repeating cycles without understanding why.

God often uses mentors, feedback, and correction to help you see what you’re blind to. Proverbs 12:1 says, “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.”

Ask trusted voices: “What am I not seeing about myself?” That’s education.

4. The Unknown Self – “What Neither You nor Others Know”: This is the mysterious zone where your deepest purpose, gifts, and spiritual calling are yet to be revealed.

Only the Holy Spirit can lead you into this kind of discovery.

Romans 8:26 says the Spirit helps us in our weakness, interceding with groaning too deep for words. As you commit to personal growth, prayer, and reflection, God begins to uncover the “you” that even you never imagined.

So Why Personal Education?

Because your destiny depends on it. God will not pour new wine into an old wineskin. If your mind remains undeveloped, your spirit may be willing, but your capacity will limit what you can handle.

Challenge:

A. Which “self” have I been neglecting?

B. Am I humble enough to receive feedback about my blind self?

C. Have I invited God to reveal the hidden and unknown parts of me?

Quote:  If your mind remains undeveloped, your spirit may be willing, but your capacity will limit what you can handle.

Prophetic Decree:  Receive the light of God to understand and manage yourself, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Lord, open my eyes to know myself as You know me.

2. Holy Spirit, please teach me where to grow, what to surrender, and how to mature.

3. Expose my blind spots, heal my hidden wounds, and unlock the unknown greatness within me.

4. Holy Spirit, I submit to Your school of personal education in Jesus name.

5. Daily O Lord, may I become a better person conforming to Your image, in Jesus name.
