Bible Reading: 1 Timothy 6: 6-12

Memory Verse: But godliness actually is a source of great gain when accompanied by contentment [that contentment which comes from a sense of inner confidence based on the sufficiency of God]. 1 Timothy 6:6 (AMP)

Dr Apoki will not stop to amaze me. He wrote a piece early in the second quarter of this year titled, “I AM BACK TO BEING ME.” There, he showed a picture of himself wearing a singlet at his farm in front of his Hilux. He uses his Hilux to farm! Don’t forget he is a trained Medical Doctor by profession and his wife runs a school. Listen to these words of wisdom: ‘Man is just dust made alive by the breath of Jehovah.

I always wonder why humans like to intimidate each other. If you remove the breath, man is just dust. From Friday to Easter Sunday, I was in a big church to preach. I was chauffeured by a multimillionaire; the convoy of cars included a Toyota Hilux with security men. I was treated like royalty. I was in a very beautiful suite with good food.

My P. A. had his own room too. As I said in my series of posts “don’t get addicted to sponsored luxury.” Am back to my original form in my farm. What they celebrated is my functionality and value, not my real status and standing. Always remember to separate your personal person from your functional person.

Trying to live up to the expectations of the crowd for your functional person can lead to a lot of financial and emotional stress. Always remember your level. Don’t fake it or faith it. The pressure can compress you. Be real to yourself.”

EVANGELISM IS GOD’S HEARTBEAT.

BE A PART OF THIS.
