Bible Reading:  Proverbs 16: 5,18

Memory Verse:  When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdomProverbs 11:2 (ESV)

Ruminate on these:

1. On vision: Every vision, purpose, or destiny that must see the light of the day must pass through a baptism of fire – Dr Paul Enenche.

2. On the richest place: The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is there that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream – Les Brown.

3. On faith: In order to have faith, you won’t have all the answers, i.e. to have all the answers, it’s impossible to please God – Hebrews 11:6

4. On giving: You don’t give because you have a large money, you give because you have a large heart.

5. On self discipline:  I will more than ever before subject myself to severe self- discipline. Only men who are masters of themselves become easy masters of others. Therefore, my thoughts, my tongue, and my actions shall be brought under strict control always – Chief Awolowo, ‘My March Through Prison’, 1985.

6. On gratitude: Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow – Melody Beattie.

7. On words: Words are like bullets. Once released you cannot call them back.

8. On the greatest tragedy: One of the greatest tragedies of life is to watch potentials go untapped – Myles Munroe.

9. On arrogance: There is a fragrance you can only bring to God when your arrogance is shattered. Be careful to think that you are standing because you are strong. It is he who the Lord keeps that is kept. You are not as strong as you think. You are only kept by God – Apostle Femi Lazarus.

10. On pride: Don’t mock people that seek for your help. The sun that melts butter is the same sun that hardens the clay. If you know how quickly God could change a situation, you will never mock at anyone struggling.

11. On mantle: The mantle that brings any miracle or testimony in your life is the same mantle that will sustain the testimony.

12. On the grounds the devil exploit: The devil exploits: a. Ignorance of the truth. b. Disobedience. c. Evil covenant.

13. On conflict resolution: Don’t raise your voice. Improve your argument.

14. On offence: Don’t allow offence and distance to separate you from the mantle that holds your destiny. The mantle of your prophet tackles the battle of your destiny.

Prophetic Decree: This year, nothing shall separate you from the mantle that will tackle your battles, in Jesus name

Prayer Focus
