Bible Reading: Luke 9: 23-24

Memory Verse:  For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking [what one likes], but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 (AMP)

My brother Christian Nwoke wrote: Our fathers handed over mantles to us, but we are planning to handover multicoloured disco lights to the coming generation. Our fathers left us with the heritage of prayer and meditation on the Word, but my generation is handing over the culture of success without the Holy Ghost.

Prosperity without purity has now become our mantra. My generation is handing over the heritage of growing Church without calling men to consecrate themselves to the very one who died for the Church. My generation has failed, God. You won’t believe me, but if we continue like this, heaven will be completely shut against us.

Ichabod has become the nomenclature of our altars before the courts of God. MY GENERATION TOLD ME THAT THEIR ALTAR IS ON FIRE, BUT GOD TOLD ME IN THE SECRET PLACE THAT ALL HE SEES IN OUR ALTARS IS SMOKE. It is in my generation that gay bishops are now leading the congregation. Where else can a gay Bishop lead a Church to if not everlasting hell fire? It is a pain my heart that my generation now preaches a crossless Gospel. Outside the fact that people are breaking chairs during service, NO TRANSFORMATION.

Gays, fraudsters, and harlots return the same after enjoying our air conditioned auditoriums. This our crossless Gospel is raising superstars instead of crucified men. I fear for the coming generation because my generation is leading them astray already. We have not told them the truth that you cannot cross into heaven without identifying with the cross of Jesus Christ. We have taught men how to succeed without being consecrated in Christ.

Through our online prayer platforms, we are now teaching men how to use Jesus as a magic genie that gives them all their wishes, but we aren’t bringing  the same men to repentance. The worst part is that we teach them crossless Christianity with the same Bible Paul and Peter used to raise a burning generation for the Kingdom. Who shall serve the younger generation from my generation if not THE TRUTH Himself.

May God forgive my generation. May God forgive these superstars and gospel celebrities who seek to use the name of Jesus to ‘blow’. I see men blowing like balloons with the name of Jesus. At the end of the day, the balloon will still burst. Selah! Who will save my generation?

Quote: The Gospel of life remains the same and cannot be modernised.

Prophetic Decree: Receive grace to embrace the raw truths of the Gospel, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father for your rod of correction needed for re-allignment.

2. O Lord, please help me to value the Cross where you died, in Jesus name.

3. I receive grace to embrace the message of the Cross.

4. O Lord, please deliver my generation from spiritual prostitution, in Jesus name.

5. Holy Spirit, please deliver modern day preachers from the love of the world, in Jesus name.
