Bible Reading: Proverbs 3:5-6
Memory Verse: But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33 (ESV)
What are the other characteristics of those that put God at the centre of their lives?:
3. They have donated themself unto God in kingdom service: A song says, “I give myself away, so you can use me.” The Holy Spirit instructed a sister to change her vision from a personal vision board to a kingdom vision board.
4. It means to always ask, “Lord, what do you want me to do?”: That was the first question Saul of Tarsus asked in Acts 9:6, and consequently, he became one of the leading Prophets of the New Testament.
5. To be ready to endure persecution for Christ sake: The story is told of a young girl who was sent out of her family house by her own mother for accepting Jesus. She endured the shame because of the love of her saviour.
6. They are ready to live a life of no compromise: Such people will return the balance when sent on errand. They are ready to stand for Christ in the examination hall, and before a lecturer who is threatening to fail them if they do not sleep with him or do his biddings.
7. They live in God-consciousness: They are persuaded that God is with them and no evil can befall them. Holiness (life without sin) and a life of ceaseless prayers must be your watchword.
8. They celebrate the presence of the Holy Spirit in everything they do and at all times: Either while they are in the car, when they wake up, when they come back from work/school, when they put on the generator, in any small or great thing, etc, they are consciously and constantly acknowledging the presence of God. By so doing, they are generating the traffic of angels and securing the presence of God always around them.
Quote: With God at the centre of your life, you can face tomorrow.
Prophetic Decree: Receive great grace to become a God-addict, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Jesus for today’s message.
2. I receive grace to donate my life as a living sacrifice unto God all the days of my life, in Jesus name.
3. Help me to live my life in the pursuance of your purpose in Jesus name.
4. I receive grace to endure persecution in the pursuance of my faith, in Jesus name.
5. Help me not to compromise my faith in season and out of season, in Jesus mighty name.
