Bible Reading: Matthew 28: 19-20

Memory Verse:  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (NKJV)

Dr. Cosmas Maduka is a Christian Billionaire who is proud of his faith. Last year, he was invited to the Lahore Revival Meeting in far away Pakistan, and he ministered with grace. Then he wrote: Blessed be the name of the Lord, the very source of all life. Just before the close of 2024, I had the immense honour of being invited to preach at the Lahore Revival Meeting in Pakistan.

It fills my heart with great joy to witness the gospel of Christ spreading far and wide, especially seeing the vibrant energy of young children and youths who are leading the charge. This is the power of the gospel, to transcend all borders and reach every corner of the earth. As the Bible commands in Matthew 28:19-20, we are to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all nations.

Evangelism isn’t just a call; it’s our first and most important work on earth. I often reflect on what @dunsinoyekan beautifully said in one of his songs, “Eden is no more a place, I am the city of God, and I bring heaven here and now.” If you are truly a Christian, you will understand the depth of this message. You are the carrier of God’s presence, and your life is a living testimony of His kingdom on earth. Are you even a Christian if you can’t preach the gospel you profess to believe? Evangelism is not an option, it’s the essence of our faith.

Again, he once wrote: Yesterday, a video of me sharing the gospel of Christ Jesus went viral, sparking conversations about the intersection of faith and success. As a billionaire, I’ve learned that true wealth isn’t measured by material possessions, but by the richness of a life rooted in godliness and contentment. No amount of money can replace the peace and fulfilment found in living a life that honours God. The greatest gain comes from walking in alignment with Christ. Hold onto your faith! Evangelism is both for the young and old, big and small, rich or poor. No one, no matter the status is exempted from evangelism.

What will I say when I go for evangelise? Basically as the Spirit leads. You can share a scripture as simple but powerful as John 3:16. You can share the testimony of your personal encounter with Christ. You can share your salvation experience. Just talk about the love of Christ in any form. The focus is Christ, His Cross, and His finished works. Go today and always to tell someone about the love of Christ that leads to salvation and repentance. Don’t neglect one-on-one evangelism even as you evangelise on all your social media platforms. Amen.

Quote:  If you had the cure to cancer wouldn’t you share it? You have the cure to eternal death, get out there and share it – Kirk Cameron.

Prophetic Decree:  Receive a share of the burden in the heart of Jesus when He died for you and I, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Lord, I am sorry for my nonchalance towards evangelism and mission.

2. Lord, please baptise me with the burden of redemption for dying sinners, in Jesus name.

3. Fire of evangelism, burn upon my heart, in Jesus name.

4. Power of deep conviction and conversion, overshadow my heart, in Jesus name.

5. Holy Spirit, baptise me with grace that I may speak a word in season, in Jesus name.
