Bible Reading: Luke 19: 8-10

Memory Verse: People do not despise a thief if he steals To satisfy himself when he is hungry; But when he is found, he must repay seven times [what he stole]; He must give all the property of his house [if necessary to meet his fine]. Proverbs 6:30-31 (AMP)

Perhaps what has kept many people at the same spot for these many years is failure to restitute. The message of restitution is scarce in our days, perhaps due to its sensitivity. However, it has stalled the destinies of many. Friends, you must develop the capacity to humble yourself and say sorry for what you did wrong even as you restore anything taken. A few life scenarios:

1. A brother got to the gate of destiny only to be denied access into his next phase

of life. In the revelation, the Spirit of God kept pointing him to several years ago when as a young teacher, he denied an allegation about him. This made the proprietress shed secret tears. Unfortunately for him, this proprietress was a minister of God with the signature of God upon her life. Hence, that altar in his past life was speaking against him. Restitution was the only way forward.

2. The story is told of a man who stole a bicycle when he was in the village. The owner of the bicycle in rage issued a curse that led to the death of the pilferer while he was eating rice. Now it is many years later, the son of the pilferer noticed that anytime he eats rice, he has stomach trouble. Doctors called it allergy. God bless their darling heart! But, thank God for His prophets. By forensic prophecy, it was discovered that there is a curse hanging on the lineage due to theft of their father. How do they reverse the curse? Restitution. Though the man who owned the bicycle was dead, pay his children the equivalent of the price of the bicycle, and the evil curse will be lifted. Our brother became a bona fide rice eater afterwards! Mysteries!!

3. There are communities/territories who killed white missionaries God sent to them, boiled them, and ate them. Today, their land is barren. It took restitution with the great grandchildren of these missionaries before the siege was removed and the land delivered. Restitution!

4. Perhaps what has stopped many men and women is the blood of the various children they have aborted before they gave their lives to Christ. Now that you are saved, consciously and deliberately plead the Blood of Jesus against the voice of those children crying for vengeance. The spirit realm hardly forgets until restitution is completed.

N.B:  RESTITUTION REQUIRES GREAT WISDOM. SEEK THE COUNSEL OF YOUR PASTOR BEFORE YOU PROCEED. In an attempt to restitute, may you not cause further damage, in Jesus name. 

Quote:  Restitution is the restoration of something lost or stolen to its proper owner.

Prophetic Decree: By the redeeming Blood of Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary, your gates are opened, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus

1. Mercy of God, walk back to my foundation and speak grace for me, in Jesus name. 

2. Let the Blood of Jesus walk back to my past and speak peace to every storm, in Jesus name.

3. Any altar speaking woe to my future, be silenced by the atoning Blood of Jesus.

4. I silence the voice of my past speaking woe to my present and future, in Jesus name. 

5. Any legal document Satan is using to block my glory and my future, be burnt to ashes, in Jesus name.

6. Caterpillar of heaven bulldoze any satanic check point on my way to my Canaanland, in Jesus name.
