RESTITUTION: A CONDITION FOR A GLORIOUS PRESENT AND FUTURE

RESTITUTION: A CONDITION FOR A GLORIOUS PRESENT AND FUTURE

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post January

Bible Reading: Luke 19: 1-10

Memory VerseIf a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it or sells it, he shall repay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. Exodus 22:1 (ESV)

Restitution is the restoration of something lost or stolen to its proper owner. Brethren, though many modern day churches try to sideline this sacred subject of restitution, it remains a condition for the full intervention of heaven in the affairs of a once fallen, but now restored man. Why is it so difficult to say sorry? Humble yourself, dear brethren. When it comes to forgetting your past, you must participate actively with God. You must take responsibility.

Again, it may require restitution. Restitution is reparation made by giving an equivalent or compensation for loss, damage, or injury caused. It is otherwise called Indemnification. Restitution is the restoration of property or rights previously taken away, conveyed, or surrendered. Why not walk up to that person you hurt (together with your pastor depending on the gravity of the offence) in humility with a gift in your hands and ask for his/her forgiveness (Mat. 18:15-17). When we repent, God forgives us; when we restitute, Man forgives us. Both MUST be done in order to secure a full blast open heaven.

Remember the message on the ministry of men we treated few days ago? Do the right thing. Restitute. It is God’s will for you to forget your past, but you must deal with the serpent of your past biting your glorious destiny. There are many people using fake certificates, falsified ages, and ill-gotten wealth who need to restitute before nemesis catch up with them. We must continue to preach balance messages in the body of Christ. The whole truth of the scripture must be preached no matter how hard. This is the burden in my spirit. I don’t just want your heavens to open, but to blast open by fire.

Secure a permanent open heavens over your life in Year 2021. Business people who inflate contracts, students using fake certificates, professionals who change figures, and all those working in government parastatals taking bribes, etc, should soberly examine their ways. Nothing shall hinder the full manifestation of God’s promises over your life this Year 2021 if only you restitute.

Quote: When you repent God forgives, when you restitute Man forgives.
