Bible Reading: Acts 1: 4,7,8

Memory Verse:  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

Are you not dazed and provoked by the testimony of yesterday’s devotional where an ordinary teacher, filled with the Holy Spirit and power turned around an entire school by the tangible power of God. Infact, the anointing of God upon his life spilled over to his working desk. O Lord, this is the type of Christianity I want to practice.

In this season of demonic revival and rapid initiation into occultism, voodoo, transgenderism, homosexualism, etc, we need carriers of the palpable power and presence of God. Make up your mind that you will not be ordinary.

Brethren, you call yourself a Christian but the powers of your father’s house are still pressing you down in your dream at night. Why call yourself a Christian and the charm placed on your seat at work still has an effect on you?

Your child is yet to be baptized with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues and you are less concerned? Strange things are happening in schools these days. The whoredom of Sodom and Gomorrah has been introduced into the curriculum especially in the foreign nation.

It is time to set yourself on fire of the Holy Spirit during the day and at night. It is time to destroy all the works of darkness in your life. And, it is time to walk in power of the Holy Spirit in this generation.

What is the pathway to power?  Acts 1:8.

  1. Tarry in God’s presence. 2. Be an addictive reader of the Word of God. 3. Be very prayerful. 4. Live a life of prompt and complete obedience. 5. Live a life of holiness. 6. Be baptized with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. 7. Exercise your authority.

Assignment: Read the book, “The God Chasers” by Tommy Tenny
