Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 2:15, Joshua 1:8

Memory Verse Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16 (NKJV)

You don’t prepare for battle on the day of battle. You prepare for battle in time of peace. Those in the military can testify of this. What the Word of God is to prayer is similar to what a bullet is to a gun. Hear me beloved: God honours personal faith. No matter the battle and confusion around you, should your faith be strong, God must be committed to you. Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) says, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

  1. Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo’s wife was given a verdict as a teenager that she will be have a problem with child birth. Her story is similar to that of the woman with the issue of blood. She was always in her on blood. What a satanic verdict! Unlike some sisters who will keep such critical information secret, she told him when he was showing interest. He responded back loud and very clear: “My Bible says, ‘None shall be barren’. You will have your own children.” (Exodus 23:26). Let intending couples know that that man or that woman who will marry you despite your past errors, family pattern, or medical history will surely stay. You just be sincere with yourself and to the person you are about to marry. God honours sincerity and faith.

2. After the wedding when his wife was swimming in her own blood, and Satan eavesdropped into his heart, “Maybe you’re just meant to adopt a child”. Pronto, a scripture popped up in his spirit: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17 (NKJV). This our God is not a respecter of persons. What he did for the Saints of old such as Hannah and Abraham, He can still do today.

To be continued tomorrow by God’s grace.

Quote: Faith honours God and God honours faith.
