Bible Reading: Colossians 3:16, Joshua 1:8

Memory Verse: For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:10 (NIV)

Be blessed as we further peruse by the Spirit of the living God into the life of Pastor and Mrs Kingsley Okonkwo.

1. When his wife was to be examined medically, another scripture jumped out from his spirit:  “And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.” Romans 4:19 (NLT). Medically speaking, Abraham wouldn’t have been able to procreate at age 100 and Sarah’s womb was also dead, but when the Monarch of the whole universe stepped in, the miraculous happened. They gave birth at a good old age surprisingly without caesarian operation.

• When his wife’s faith hadn’t grown enough and she was panicking moving from hospital to hospital, a scripture popped up in his mind. Isaiah 28:16, “Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.”  That gave a lot of reassurance.

4. When his wife was tired of moving from pillar to post, she finally settled down with the scriptures to build her personal faith. Today, she has a catalogue of scriptures which she has packaged into a book for those waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb.

 Testimony: To the glory of God, today, they are blessed with three children. What God cannot do does not exist. If you don’t settle down in a living Church and through personal study to build your faith, you may likely get defeated when the storms of life which usually does not pre-inform blows. Eat the scriptures. Build your personal faith. Everything you will ever need is wrapped up in the scriptures.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Jesus because there is victory in your Word.

2. Thank you Father because my deliverance is in your Word.

3. Thank you Holy Spirit because my liberty is in the Word.

4. I tear down every veil covering the eyes of my understanding of God’s Word, in Jesus name.

5. I reject the spirit of error and doctrinal excesses, in Jesus name.
