Bible Reading: 1 John 4: 7-10

Memory Verse: But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.  1 John 3:8 (NLT)

Give it the acronym, “Sense In Nothing”. Sin remains the number one enmity between God, the Creator, and Man His creature. Credit to the works of Pastor Victor Olukoji (PVO). “Snake, no matter the size is dangerous! Sin, no matter the size is dangerous! Satan is buying destinies with the currency of illicit pleasure. The greatest tragedy is not death but living when your purpose is dead! Sin makes that happen.

Secret sin is the mark of the unwise. They choose to forget that God sees. You cheat secretly. You lie secretly. You fornicate secretly. Yet, you preach Jesus openly. Your audacity makes even the Angels to shiver! When will you stop this game and truly serve God in spirit and in truth? What if He chooses to call you back now? I mean NOW. The hallmark of the Pilgrim is to live with eternity in view! Let’s return to the highway of holiness as becometh saints. Sin sinks!”

Without any iota of fear, you steal from the offering box in Church. Why has your mind suddenly become a citadel of evil? How dare you steal God’s properties? You forge figures even as a church worker? You defile and molest church members. A particular pastor impregnated 14 women in his church. Behold the generation of Hophni and Phinehas who will surely perish if they don’t repent. Sin stink. Sin sting. Repent today.

Good news: The primary reason Jesus came to earth is to break the power of sin – pornography, masturbation, evil addiction to drugs, etc. If you are ready to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour right now, your deliverance from the grip of sin is settled. Say: Lord Jesus, purge me, cleanse me, and make me whole, by the power in the finished works of the Cross of Calvary, and by the power in your Blood. You are set free.

Prophetic Decree:  Let the fire of God roast every altar of sin in your heart, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I repent of all my wayward acts and shortcomings today, in Jesus name.

2. Blood of Jesus, purge my heart in Jesus name.

3. I break the grip of pornography and masturbation in my life, in Jesus name.

4. Presumptuous sins shall not have dominion over me, in Jesus name.

5. Foundational grip of sexual sin in my life, break, in Jesus name.
