Bible Reading:  Galatians 5: 19-21

Memory Verse Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 (AMP)

Hello Brethren. Can we re-examine yesterday’s devotional with the eyes of a prophet? Question: What pushed Etim Esin out of the camp when he was instructed not to leave? Secondly, why was he shot in no other place other than his legs? Friends, I perceive the involvement of a foul spirit. Not all mistakes are normal, some were sponsored.

Some mistakes were provoked by powers beyond the ordinary saddled at crumbling many a shining destiny. The robbers could have shot Etim in the arm or any other place, but they specifically shot him at the instrument of his office – his legs.

We need to pray the Father of all spirits to deliver us from costly errors and costly mistakes. The glory of the superstar set at midday. No thanks to the power of Herod – the power that kills great destinies at infancy.

Shall we all take heed. Shall we all watch and pray. The enemy is like a roaring lion seeking for who to devour. One pathway the devil comes through to dim the glory of a rising star is through costly mistakes. Woe befell Canaan the day he saw his father’s nakedness.

Woe befell Simeon and Levi when they couldn’t control their anger. Woe befell the ministry of Barnabas when he fell out with Apostle Paul. Woe befell Lot when he parted ways with Abraham, just to mention but a few.

The more you carefully study life, the more you understand that a simple error, mistake or negligence could silence a great destiny. Shall we all work prayerfully and with great discernment in this Christian pilgrimage. Be careful of sponsored mistakes.

The flesh is the opening for many a sponsored mistake. Apostle Paul said, “I die daily’. Die to unruliness, indiscipline, drunkenness, masturbation, lying, forgery, etc, as you strive to daily work with the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:19-21)

Quote: The works of the devil are usually sponsored by the flesh and can only prosper as far as we let it.

Prophetic Decree: May the mercy of God cover up for your weaknesses, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I receive grace to do away with all worldliness and disobedience, in Jesus name.

2. I receive wisdom to reign in life, in Jesus name.

3. I block every avenue of foundational powers of my father’s house into my life, in Jesus name.

4. I block every avenue of foundational powers of my mother’s house into my life, in Jesus name.

6. Holy Spirit, please correct every character deficit in my life, in Jesus name.
