Bible Reading: Gen. 26:12-23
Memory Verse: And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became
very great. Genesis 26:13

Our God is very dynamic and He does not change, but, He changes things. However,
many have remained in a particular place like stagnant water. Stagnant water does not
move hence it stinks, badly coloured and never a pleasant sight to the eyes. It is sad but
true that many lives are like stagnant water. There are people living in an old rickety
house for many years without a change of status. There are people who keep failing a
particular class over again. There are many people who have been doing a particular job
for so many years without any substantial increase in salary or better living condition.
God is not in support of this. The devil is responsible for many of these cases. However,
you must take personal responsibility. Adulterers and fornicators may be inviting the
spirit of stagnancy. Your semen is a legal tender in the cauldron of witchcraft. Many who
have sex outside marriage testify to a downward trend in their finances. They just keep
going down financially without any justifiable reason. God is not begging you to be holy.
Holiness is your defense. Holiness is your spiritual insecticide. Holiness will preserve
your tomorrow.
What do you do?

1. Genuine confession, repentance and surrender to Jesus.
2. Examine yourself: Is there any sin or bad attitude in your life. Some people cannot take
   initiative. They are always very timid to take risk. The future belongs to calculated risk
   takers. Only the violent man can possess his possession by force. You need a lion heart
   for a lion share in life.
3. Deal with the strongman of stagnancy.
4. Pray foundational deliverance prayers.
5. Praise the Lord.

   limit my progress in the name of Jesus.
10. O God, you are the lifter up of my head. Move my destiny forward by fire, in the name
    of Jesus.
