The powers holding many people down is nowhere but in their minds. The reason why some people are not making forward progress is because of self-deceit, and strong self-delusion. Like the children of Israel, many have left Egypt but Egypt is still in their heart. What a pity! God cannot help a man who has refused to correct his wrong mindset (Rom.12:2). “The reason why my business went down is because of the COVID-19 pandemic”, someone must have said. But, do you know that the reason why some businesses shot to another level is because of this same pandemic? Ask those selling food stuffs.

Brethren, stop all these complaints. You are from Zion. You are an ambassador of heaven. Why should you be sent to a country from Zion, the holy city of the living God and you won’t telephone the headquarters for current happenings. That song writer wrote, “I can telephone heaven, I can telephone”. In life, as a true Christian, no situation should handcuff you if truly you are connected to the Holy Spirit. The problem most times is that we are too rigid. Sometimes, you need to step out of your comfort zone and prod into uncommon waters. There are still opportunities everywhere.

Telephone heaven in heart-felt prayers. Ask the Holy Spirit for insights. Tell Him to direct you. Most students who were at home during the lockdown seem to be very comfortable in laxity. You mean you didn’t see that as an opportunity to press into Zion for deeper information about your parentage and foundation, or learn a new skill e.g. coding, computer appreciation, graphics, website design, etc, online? You think what you are taught from those outdated syllabus is sufficient to put money in your pocket after graduation? Common on… Few days ago, I shared the story of the best graduating student from LASU who started a business right there on campus.

The future is real friend. How much are you willing to make out of it? Do you know that in this COVID-19 pandemic, some people are building new houses? Don’t forget there was a hike in the price of cement especially for those in West Africa. You are an ambassador from heaven. Connect to divinity and superimpose your world with divine ideas. Only be flexible and innovative. Do as He commands. God prospers His children through instructions even in time of famine. Ask Isaac (Gen. 26:1,12-15).

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father because You won’t leave me comfortless.

2. I break the siege of the enemy over my finances, in Jesus name.

3. I break the siege of the enemy over my mind, in Jesus name.

4. O Lord, show me deep and secret things that will move me forward by fire, in Jesus name.

5. Holy Spirit, give me a mental renovation, innovation and divine ideas that will push me forward, in Jesus name.
