Bible Reading: Romans 8: 14-16

Memory Verse: The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. Romans 8:16 (NKJV)

If you must be wiser than your enemies, please understand how the Holy Spirit speaks. You need to train your spirit to pick up divine signals and nudges. Basically, God leads His children through the inner witness of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:16). There is this assurance of peace or “holy fear” in your spirit when the Holy Spirit speaks this way. By the way, be sure you have genuinely surrendered the totality of your life to God and you’re genuinely baptized with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

A Christian brother was about to board a plane. Suddenly, he lost his peace. That’s the Holy Spirit advising him against the trip. Be warned. You really need to be very sensitive. A mighty havoc planned by the devil may only be revealed into your spirit by a simple nudge such as this. Great destruction happens when you don’t take heed to those silent nudges of the Holy Spirit. Before Apostle Arome finally met his wife, he wanted to propose to another lady. Just before he could do that, he lost his peace.
In his words, “Right there, I disengaged”. On the other end, it is possible to feel peace even amidst the storms of life. That’s the peace that passes all understanding (Phil. 4:7). That’s the Shekinah presence of God affirming Emmanuel – God with you. You hold on to that! Oh, you need to master this act brethren. Train your spirit to pick up divine witness, signs, symbols and signals. You may be in a very noisy environment but very calm in your spirit waiting upon the Lord for the next action.
Be warned: Many are yet to master the act by which God speaks to them in their everyday living, but rush to God when they want to make life changing decisions such as the choice of a life partner. Then, they start seeing men like trees. The Holy Spirit is willing to lead you in your everyday life, give him a chance. Call on him when you’re about to leave your house, when you are at work/school, in the bus, when you’re looking for a missing key, etc. He is a Being. The third person of the Trinity. Carry Him along in your everyday life. Ask Him questions. “Holy Spirit, please show me what to read in preparation for my examination/interview”. He is ever standing by. He is in you. He is with you.

Prayer Focus

1. Precious Holy Spirit, I welcome You.
2. Solemn declaration: I invite you Spirit of God to take the driver seat in my life, in Jesus name.
3. Any dark cloud surrounding my life, clear away by fire, in Jesus name.
4. I receive grace for divine sensitivity, in Jesus name.
5. I refuse to fall into the trap of my enemies, in Jesus name.
