 THE BLESSING OF DILIGENT SERVICE

Bible Reading: Hebrew 6: 10-12

Memory Verse:  For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints. Hebrew 6:10 (NASB)

One of the fundamental principles of life is found in the Bible. Galatians 6:7 to be precise: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sow, that shall he also reap.” Many years ago, a renowned pastor stumbled upon the music of Moses Bliss on the television and immediately sent for him. That relationship was one that further brought Moses Bliss’ glory to limelight.

Recently, another  pastor said he stumbled upon a video on the social media and he fell in love with the song. He perceived the anointing of God upon the song. Unknown to the Pastor, the song he heard was sang by one of his daughters in his church but from another zone. He ordered her to come immediately to the headquarters where he blessed her, and promised to finance her album.

Guess what? The sister in concern is one of Moses Bliss’ backup singer. I want to believe that she had served the older song minister until the same anointing that brought him to limelight rubbed off on her. Please don’t ignore the place of sacrificial christian service. You must learn to serve God and the people He has placed over you dutifully.

There is a dimension of grace that does not come by prayer and fasting but by serving God and serving the people He has placed over you despite their human weaknesses. This is a fundamental principle in the school of prosperity and divine lifting. Hebrews 7:7 (KJV) says, “And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.” Are you serving your boss well enough to recommend you for a promotion? Or, you just want to collect your monthly salary and leave.

Serve diligently with all your heart. What about your Pastor, your group leader, and your parents? Children shouldn’t be too big to run errands. Obeying the rule of honour is a trigger to prophetic blessings and extraordinary lifting. Elisha served Elijah. Samuel served Eli. Joshua served Moses. Timothy served Paul. All these served until the grace on the former rested upon the latter. Serve diligently.

QuoteService is a show of humility and humility endear God to man.
