Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 6:1-2
Memory Verse: You should diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God,
and His testimonies and His statutes which He has commanded you. Deuteronomy 6:17

An indigenous proverb says, “One who is corrected for doing wrong but remains
adamant is preparing for sudden destruction”. The Bible buttressed this point in Psalm
19:7 “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is
sure, making wise the simple”. Only the man simple in heart receives instructions
capable of making him wise.
It is in your best interest to know that you do not fully understand the vicissitudes of life,
hence you need instruction and guidance from God and wise people He brings your way.
Humility will do you a lot of good in your journey to destiny fulfillment. You will never
know all you have to know about everything.
When God gives you an instruction such as “Do not commit fornication and adultery”,
do not think He is only being too hard on you. It is for your own benefit. The chances are
there to contact sexually transmitted diseases no matter how you “play safe”. However,
there are some special destiny assignments reserved only for those who keep
themselves pure. The womb of Mary was chosen to carry baby Jesus because first, she
was highly favoured and secondly she was a virgin (Luke 1:27-28). There are some
deliverance prayers and fasting that could be easily avoided simply by obeying this law
of purity. A destiny child who slept with a demonic person has lost is glory partially or
wholly. Be wise. Obey Divine instructions.

Quote: The pain of discipline is better than the pain of regret.

Prophetic Decree: Receive grace to obey in season and out of season, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

1. Today O Lord, I embrace the pain of discipline and I reject the pain of regret. So help
   me God.
2. Come against any evil altar of your father’s house magnetizing you to self destruction
   in the name of Jesus.
3. Break every yoke of uncontrollable sexual habit in your life.
4. Break every yoke of sin in your life in the name of Jesus.
5. Say: I receive power to love and meditate on the sweet counsel of God in Jesus name.
