Bible Reading: Deut. 13: 4, 18

Memory Verse: “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of
the LORD is sure, making wise the simple”. Psalm 19:7

Every Word spoken by God is a command. God never jokes with his Words (Psalm
138:2). God speaks no careless Word. To command is to give an instruction or a rule that
must be obeyed. You do not question it, you just simply obey. It refers to an order; a given
directive usually from a superior.
The ear and mouth gate: God commands that we do not defile our body. One way we
defile our body is through our ear gate. Yes, the music we sing and listen to! Music is food
for the soul and music is a spiritual tool. When David played music, evil spirit departed
from Saul. There is no music without a spiritual backup. Many of the music churned out
today in the secular world have been dedicated to water spirit and evil powers in the
second heavens. I know of a decent lady who dances like a snake at the sound of music.
The evil spirit in such music comes upon her. As years goes by, these spirits must have
been fully grown and could begin to torment her.
Tattoo: Tattooing is not style. Putting tattoo on your body is against the commandment
of God. If truly you are born again, you no longer own your own body. You have been
bought not by rubies or gold, but by the precious Blood of Jesus. Lev. 19:28 says, “You
shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the LORD.”
Your movie, television and football stars may have tattoo on their body but that does
not make it right. Many have entered into untold hardship and evil covenant because of
this. Butterfly, scorpion, dragon, etc are spiritual codes with deep spiritual meaning.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 1 – 2
Quote: Obedience to God’s commandment is the summary of the Bible.
Prophetic Decree: You shall falter no more at God’s commandments, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus:

  1. Repent of all ways you have defiled your body, the temple of the living God.
  2. Rebuke by the fire of the Holy Ghost any power tying you down to wrong music,
friends & alcohol, in Jesus name.
  3. Plead the Blood of Jesus has a weapon to break any evil covenant you have entered
into as a result of putting tattoo on your body.
  4. Say: I choose to receive Divine discipline, in the name of Jesus.
  5. My Father help me to be dedicated to your will, in Jesus name.
