Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 10:23 (NKJV)

Memory Verse: Everything is permissible, but not everything is helpful. Everything is permissible, but not everything builds up. 1 Corinthians 10:23 (ISV)

I perceive the Lord is not through with us on this topic. A Pastor friend shared a testimony with me sometimes ago. He said his General Overseer loves him so much and as a result he wouldn’t want to post him to Pastor another branch of the Church but he knows deep inside of him that it was time to step into deeper waters outside his comfort zone. He also knew for sure that it will come with some pain and hardship, notwithstanding, they are needed tools to build greater capacity in him and prepare him for a greater glory in the future.

Such is a help you do not need. Indeed, anyone can mistake an Eliab for David. Mind you, that is not a good reason to dishonour a spiritual figure. You will need the wisdom of God and fervent prayers to navigate through such seasons. The heart of a king belongs to the Lord as the scripture says. He must trust God to convince his General Overseer to release him into the next season of his life. There are times and seasons in the making of a destiny. You will not miss your season, in Jesus name.

Some parents are too over-pampering to release their children into their destiny. They don’t want the fire of life to refine their children into a better image of God. Don’t worry, provided the hand of God is upon that child, God will organize a “Joseph experience” for such. Jacob’s love for Joseph was beginning to send some offensive aroma to heaven and as a result, God had to ‘force the young lad out’.

You may not like God’s method but the result is most noble. Joseph might not have amounted to anything had he remained in Jacob’s residence.  Please stop over-pampering these little ones. Teach them to abound and abase in life else God may be force to re-route their training. There are some help that are not needed in the making of a life and destiny. 

Quote: If you can say No to that which will give you pleasure only in the interim, it means you have secured the intelligence of the ages to come.

Prophetic Decree:  Receive grace to discern the help needed and the help not needed, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I receive grace to discern the help that is needed and the help that is not needed, in Jesus name.

2. Lord, help me to subject myself to the process that will reveal your glory in my life without blemish, in Jesus name.

3. Lord, organize a Joseph experience for me if that is what will push me forward in Jesus name.

4. I tap into the wisdom of God needed to manage spiritual authorities unwilling to release me into my destiny, in Jesus name.

5. I tap into the wisdom of God to stop the activities of spiritual authorities manipulating my journey into destiny, in Jesus name.
