Bible Reading: Genesis 8:22, Galatians 6:7

Memory VerseDon’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Galatians 6:7 (NLT)

There are established laws that governs the heavens and the earth. The law of sowing and reaping, otherwise called the law of reciprocity is one of such laws. Amazingly, even God subjected Himself to this law when He gave (sowed) His only begotten Son to die for (reap) the entire world. This generation is full of so many misconceptions. We always want God to move without we moving an inch. It is not always so. When you sow 4-7 years in a University, you reap a certification that could be used to earn a living for yourself throughout your life time.

The mystery about the law of sowing and reaping is such that the harvest is always more than than the seed sown. Sow a seed of maize and reap many cobs of maize. What a mystery! Now, the question is what type of seed are you sowing with your time, in your relationship, in your career, academics or ministry? Those who sow their time masturbating and watching pornography will surely reap a negative addiction which may take only the grace of God to break away from.

Moses, the Prophet sowed the seed of disobedience when he struck the rock and he didn’t enter Canaan. King Saul’s disobedience cost him the kingdom. David killed Uriah when he impregnated his wife. Till today, sword hasn’t departed from his lineage. God forgives sins but the consequences of our sins are non-negotiable. What you sow, you must reap. If you plant honesty, you will reap trust. If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.

If you plant humility, you will reap greatness. If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment. If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective. If you plant hardwork under God, you will reap good success. If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation. If you plant faith, you will reap miracles. Always be careful what you sow now because it will determine what you will reap later.

Quote: The quality of the seed you sow combined with the quality of the surrounding environment determines the quality of harvest.

Prophetic Decree: Receive divine empowerment to sow only the right seeds, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Jesus for the finished work of the Cross of Calvary.

2. By the power in the Blood of Jesus, I wipe out all the ordinances of evil written against me.

3. I repent of all my wrong atrocities by the redeeming blood of Jesus.

4. Lord, walk back to my past and convert every negative seed to positive seeds in your infinite mercies.

5. I command the restoration of all I have lost due to my past woes by the mercies of God.BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Matthew 27; Mark 15
