Bible Reading: Leviticus 26:14-20; Deuteronomy 28:23

Memory VerseThe skies above will be as unyielding as bronze, and the earth beneath will be as hard as iron. Deuteronomy 28:23 (NLT)

Deaconess O. Balogun said, “We all have a personal space in the heavenlies. It doesn’t matter the number of people on the earth, we all have a personal space in the heavenlies. There is a personal space for each person’s heaven to be opened for appropriate blessings. Unknown to many people, ignorance has made them to be careless about their own heavenly space. Jesus had his heaven opened immediately He was baptized (Matthew 3:16); Jesus’ heaven had to be opened for his allocation to be given to him. When the heaven over a life is closed, the good things that are expected to be in his life will not come. No good thing can manifest if the heavens of a person is closed. Many people are struggling today because of the ignorance of their space.”

What could be responsible for closed heavens?

1. Dishonour to biological and spiritual parents: Put whatever might have happened between you and your parents behind you and go back to them for their blessings. Like Jesus, humble yourself. They have a spiritual authority over you to open or close your personal heavens. Take note: Don’t honour your pastor and despise your parents or vice versa. Be balanced. Honour both your spiritual and biological parents.

2. Evil foundation: The blessings of God cannot fall upon you abundantly until all known and unknown curses, and evil covenants in your family have been thoroughly dealt with. This is the reason many are experiencing slow progress, rising and falling, epileptic supply of financial resources, etc. Tear the heavens open today by purging your foundation with the Blood of Jesus.

3. The activities of false prophets and evil kings of the land: Prophet Elijah by the Spirit of God closed the heaven of Israel because of the numerous atrocities of the evil prophets of Baal and their evil king. Not until they were all judged and the people of the land repented, there was no sound of rain (1 kings 16: 29-34, 1 kings 17:1; 18:17-46).

Quote: When heavens close, struggles continues.

Prophetic Decree: Today marks the end to your constant struggles, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I repent of any act of dishonour, or sin that is responsible for my closed heavens, in Jesus name.

4. Anything programmed into the heavens of my destiny by witchcraft, catch fire, in Jesus name.
