Bible Reading: Proverbs 25:2

Memory VerseFor I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Jim Kwik opined “If an egg is broken by an external force, life ends. If an egg is broken by an internal force, life begins. Great things always begins from the inside”. Do you know you can read all the success biographies, motivational stories, get a good education, stay under a good mentor, etc, and yet something seems to be missing in your life. All the aforementioned are meant to act as a catalyst needed to bring out the real you. The real you can only be unlocked by you.

All other things are provocative factors. Some call it destiny, others call it fulfillment, either ways, it can only be unlocked by you. There is an inner you. There is a real you locked up in your inside. Your parents will try to unlock it, your teachers will try, your disciplers will try, your pastor will try, the environment will try, and every good person you meet will try to unlock it but you must discover it for yourself. That’s your divine original. There are no two destinies that are exactly the same. There are no two thumbprints that are exactly the same – not even that of twins born on the same day. You must discover and unlock the real you by yourself.

Food for thought:

1. Destiny is a matter of choice. It is better to choose destiny by discovery of God’s plan for your life than to carve a destiny for oneself.

2. It is one thing to discover who you are, and it is another thing to use your discovery to the glory of God and for the benefit of mankind.

3a. There are many Pastors that shouldn’t have anything to do with ministry.

3b. There are many people working 8am – 4pm who should be in full-time ministry.

3c. There are many people who are to give up their secular job for ministry in the mean time in order to reap a more glorious career and ministry in the future.

3d. There are many who should do both secular work and ministry pari pasu.

Question from point 3:  “Where do you belong?” Ask the Holy Spirit.

Quote:  Your destiny opens up when you discover God’s Purpose for your life. Therefore, make up your mind to discover what God has said about you  – Pastor Paul-Enenche

Prophetic Decree: I command the scales upon your spiritual eyes to fall off, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Holy Spirit divine, please reveal me to me, in Jesus name.

2. The real me, come out by fire, in Jesus name.

3. Lord, I will not miss destiny in the days of my youth, in Jesus name.

4. Lord Jesus, if I have missed my destiny, mercifully reroute me back on track, in Jesus name.

5. I receive power to remain focused in the path of destiny come what may, in Jesus name.
