Bible Reading: Psalm 91:1

Memory Verse: As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. Psalm 42:1 (NIV)

In case you are looking for that mantle of influence upon your father in the Lord, it may not be inside the big camp ground they built. The ageless spiritual depth and consecration upon them may not be found only by their laying of hands. The Davidic mantle of raising valiant men which we see upon some of our fathers in the faith is not found inside a church building. Time has proven that these men touched real substance. These men travelled to a place called THE SECRET PLACE, and they where not in a hurry to return.

If you think it is by going to touch their shoes, you will grow old touching shoes without receiving genuine impartation. They legislate affairs in the realm of mortals, and operate from that immortal realm. You think such comes only by laying of hands? All these things are completely useless if you cannot travel to where they travelled and remain there (The Secret Place). The secret place is the place where men of stature are made. The secret place is the place of power. From the secret place, spiritual men legislate affairs in the earth realm and see real results.

1 COR. 9:11(NIV) SAYS, “IF WE HAVE SOWN SPIRITUAL SEED AMONG YOU, IS IT TOO MUCH IF WE REAP A MATERIAL HARVEST FROM YOU?”.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  1 Kings 15:1-24; 2 Chronicles 13-16

HYMNAL:  I AM THINE, O LORD, I HAVE HEARD THY VOICE

1. I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice,

And it told Thy love to me;

But I long to rise in the arms of faith,

And be closer drawn to Thee.

Chorus

Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,

To the cross where Thou hast died;

Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,

To Thy precious, bleeding side.

2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,

By the pow’r of grace divine;

Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,

 And my will be lost in Thine.

3. O the pure delight of a single hour

That before Thy throne I spend,

When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,

I commune as friend with friend!

4. There are depths of love that I yet may know

Ere Thee face to face I see;

There are heights of joy that I yet may reach

Ere I rest in peace with Thee.
