Bible Reading: James 4:8a

Memory Verse:   The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. Psalm 25:14 (NKJV)

Have you noticed that flawless gift of the Word of knowledge into deep spiritual things in some of our fathers that has made their message relevant even after several years? Many years gone in ministry, they are still speaking burdens to many hearts. How does this come? All these transactions happens in the secret place via daily meditation on the Word and prayer.

See what Peter said concerning the secret place… “And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, IT IS GOOD FOR US TO BE HERE…” Mark 9:5 (KJV). If you have found this place called the secret place, tarry there. It is good to be there. Don’t just go about running aimlessly seeking impartation from every prophet, both fake and genuine. Even impartation must be fanned to expression in the secret place.

Apostle Paul having laid hands on his son Timothy said, “Therefore, I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands.” 2 Timothy 1:6 (CSB). Tarry deep enough alone with God. Touch reality. It won’t take long from now before you touch something significant. It is time to train those feeble knees.

It is time to train your fingers to fight and your hands to war. God works with us as individuals. Stay by your altar in the secret place. Many have been deceived, duped, and robbed of their spiritual and financial treasures while running from pillar to post. There are many shrines now called churches. Stay in the secret place.

1. Holy Spirit, please take me to the realm where God abides in my secret place.

2. O Lord, empower me to encounter you genuinely and intimately, in Jesus name.

3. Fire for fresh revival, fill my soul, in Jesus name.

4. Lord, open the gates of deeper realms for me in my search for you, in Jesus name.

5. Revive us O Lord in the midst of the years, in Jesus name.

6. Sing the hymn: “Deeper, deeper, in the love of Jesus, daily let me go” on page 103.
