Bible Reading: Numbers 12: 1-16

Memory Verse: Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 1Peter5:5(ESV)

Honour is the discerning and the celebration of the usefulness of an individual, a group or corporate entity. Honour is that key that can open any door. Doors close because of dishonour to God, man or principles. Remember the riddle of Samson. Honey was found inside a smelly carcass and not on a tree. Similarly, there are treasures in earthen vessels. When you are desperate for progress, then you must put on the character of endurance. Your boss, patient, customer, colleague, subordinate, or parent could have a domineering personality which is an obvious character flaw.

But, can you bear with such in order to receive your destiny quota from them? Can you bear with such in order to receive God’s blessings for your life wrapped up in them? Would you endure with such temperament? Man is an embodiment of different dimensions. Dishonour is not only bad, it has side effects. Miriam was a prophetess who pitched her tent against a sibling of higher spiritual voltage in the person of Moses, and God responded. She suffered from leprosy for 7 days. God operates with men at different energy levels. We are not “grace mates” even though we may be age mates. “Every possibility is secured through understanding. Graces are transferable.

It is not only during worship that you remove your crown, in receiving you must do the same – Apostle Joshua Selman. Honour comes with a price. Sometimes your ego will be bruised but the blessings that comes afterwards will be worth the price. “You know possibilities by the result it produce. If they are not captured in your life, the grace is not yet there. Can you adapt to the complexities of men that you may receive the blessings that come from them? – Apostle Joshua Selman.

But, how do you provoke favour via honour in Year 2021?

1. Sow seeds of honour: You are not entitled to favour from anyone you detest, reject, or trivialize. You must have the humility to show honour in cash and/or in kind. It is proof of wisdom.

2. Pray favour provoking prayers.

3. Covet the prophecy of your Man of God: Ezra 6:14, “And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo”.

Quote: Adaptation to the complexities of men is a proof of honour. 

Prophetic Decree: I come against the spirit of pride and dishonour that separates men from their God-ordained helpers, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank You Father for the fellowship of Your Spirit.

2. I reject the spirit of pride and arrogance, in Jesus name.

3. O heavens of Year 2021, you shall cooperate with my divine promotion and rapid elevation, in Jesus name.

4. Spirit of pride and dishonour, die, in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace to adapt to the complexities of my destiny helpers, in Jesus name.
