Bible Reading: Proverbs 3: 5-7, Joshua 24:15

Memory VerseBut as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15c (NLT)

An alcoholic father had two sons namely Tom and Steve. Tom struggles through life as a drunk while Steve becomes a successful, ambitious entrepreneur. When asked “Why are you the way you are?”. Tom and Steve responded “My father was an alcoholic”. Beloved, it is all about decisions. The thoughts of Phil McGraw quickly comes to mind, “Sometimes you make the right decision, sometimes you make the decision right”. Tom took a decision to follow his father footsteps but Steve took a decision to learn from his father’s weakness and mistake and make his own life meaningful. Little wonder Tony Robbins opined, “It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped”.

Friend, you can decide to continue to wallow in the defeat of previous years. You can decide also to live above it. You can decide to cry about lack of destiny helpers or you make up your mind to chart your way to the top echelon of your career. You can decide to wallow in the curses and evil covenants of your father’s house, or you decide to set yourself free by setting yourself on the fire of the Holy Ghost and break out of such shackles. Either way, the decision is yours. At the end of your life, you will be forced to take responsibility for the final outcome of your life. What decisions are you taking now concerning your dreams, goals and plans in life? The decision you make today affects who you become tomorrow.

A plan is just like the charger of your phone that makes your dreams come alive. What plans do you have for your dreams? Are those plans strategic enough to make your dreams come alive? Develop a strategic plan for your dreams now to be alive continuously. “Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen” – Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Prophetic Riddle: If you decide not to make a decision, your indecision is another decision. In other words: Your indecision not to take a decision is in fact a decision.

Quote: All of us start from zero. We take the right decision and become a hero – Govinda.

Prophetic Decree: Demon inspired decisions, die by fire, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank You Jesus for deciding to rescue me from the grip of sin on the Cross of Calvary.

2. I refuse to make destiny threatening decisions in error, in Jesus name.

3. Demon inspired decisions, die by fire, in Jesus name.

4. I purge my heart and my thoughts in the pool of the Blood of Jesus.

5. I receive a sound mind in a sound body, in Jesus mighty name.
