DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post February

Wednesday, 1st February, 2017.

Bible reading: 1 Sam. 25:5-34.

Memory verse: “Now when Abigail saw David, she hastened to dismount from the donkey, fell on her face before David, and bowed down to the ground” 1 Samuel 25:23.

 4. Be Appreciative and Thankful

“I awoke this morning with devout thanksgiving for my friends, the old and the new. “Ralph Waldo Emerson

The people who are around you are there because they care for you in one measure or the other. They support you and help to make your life better. No matter how much of a ‘lone wolf’ you think you are, or act like, no one can survive on their own, so be gracious and generous say “thank you” always.

 5. Prioritizing

“Set your priorities right, know if you chase two rabbits at a time, you will lose bothThatonerule: #1882.

Take a deep breath, and realize what’s more important for you. If you really think going to watch that football match is more important than doing that school assignment, then do so. Make sure you give your 100% to your priority. Doing one thing while thinking about the other will give you a major fear of missing out. List out your priorities, make a plan for them; and execute them.

 6. Learning how to adapt to things

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used in creating them. “Albert Einstein.

Whoever said ‘Change is the only constant thing’, couldn’t have phrased it any better. The beauty of life is that it’s always changing. People, things, moments, emotions, and everything keep evolving constantly, and it is upon us to learn how to adapt to things. Being on your toes and ready for change is perhaps one of the most important things in life.

Quote: “It took me 17yrs, 117days to become a success overnight” – Lionel Messi.

Prophetic Word: Receive every spiritual impartation needed to become a rising star, in Jesus name.

Prayer points

  1. I receive grace to be courteous, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Holy Spirit, help me to be flexible to positive changes, in the name of Jesus.
