Bible Reading: Luke 18:1, Leviticus 6:11-13
Memory Verse: Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
You see, consistency is a very important word if you must grow in anything you do. A Christian who has grown to the level of praying one hour DAILY will surely wield more power than someone who’s usually on and off. One hour daily is the minimum prayer time Jesus recommended for his disciples (Matthew 26:40). Yes, it may take a little more time for a new convert to get there, but it is surely possible. As we mature in the Lord, we learn to spend even more time with the Lord in prayers.
How Do You Have A Consistent Prayer Life?
1. Be disciplined: Have a set time for prayer daily. Have a prayer altar. Anything you do consistently for a period of time will surely invite the emergence of spirits. Pastor E.A. Adeboye said there were times he had to be walking up and down the stairs in order to complete his prayer quota for the day. That’s discipline! Sometimes you may need to set up your alarm.
2. Study deeply the benefits of prayers: The benefits derived from a thing will give you enough propensity to continue in such. Know for sure that a man who prays will worry less. A Man who prays will have divine information handy. A Man who prays will have access into the secrets of God needed for life and destiny. A Man who prays will not be a prey to the enemy. A man who prays will always manifest the glory and the presence of God at all times.
3. Have a company of praying friends: Association determines manifestation. He that walks with prayerful people will surely be prayerful. Until Saul entered the company of Prophets he didn’t prophesy. Choose a company of praying friends.
4. Understand what feeds your prayer life: Some people best pray when the atmosphere is silent. Others pray by playing worship or prophetic prayer chants at the background. And for some others, after they had caught a personal revelation from the Scriptures during the Quiet time. Either ways, study, understand and do whatsoever keeps you charged, and makes you feel like praying.
Quote: Prayer is an act of humility. When you pray, you accept that you are frail and helpless without God – 2 Chronicles 7:14
Prophetic Decree: Receive grace for consistency on the altar of prayers, in Jesus name.

3. I accept my vulnerabilities, please help me to pray, O God.
4. Fresh appetite for prevailing prayers according to the will of God, overshadow me, in Jesus name.
5. O Lord, cloth me with a prayer garment. Give me a fresh appetite to pray with results following.
