WEALTHY “BUT” CHILDLESS

Bible Reading:  2 Kings 4:8-17

Memory Verse:  And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. Exodus  23:25-26

The story of the Shunammite Woman in our Text explains the meaning of the word “but” in the life of a believer. She was a wealthy, hospitable, and virtuous woman but her joy was not full. There was a need in her life which her money, affluence, and influence could not solve. The enemy did not stop her from marrying a good husband “but” stopped her from having the fruit of the womb. Never did she ever enjoyed the joy of being a mother.

Similarly, there are graduates “but” no jobs. There are people who are anointed “but” broke. There are people who are hardworking “but” no material prosperity. Some are well connected “but” no contract. Some students are brilliant “but” cannot pay for their tuition. Some people are very enterprising “but” no one to buy their goods. I pray every veil of the enemy covering you shall catch fire, in Jesus name. There are ladies working in good companies “but” have no suitor. Raise your voice in holy anger and shout this prayer: Every “but” in my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus. Do you know? The city of Jericho was beautiful “but” the water was bitter (2 Kings 2:19).

Secondly, we understand that the same powers that delayed her child bearing killed the child at infancy. There are die – hard problems beloved. There could be an ancestral stubborn “strongman” in charge of a case.  You need power to receive a miracle and power to retain the miracle. We are surrounded by the enemy who does not go on sabbatical leave hence, we must always be on guard.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Job 17 – 20

Quote: The presence of a Prophet terminates any “but” in your life.

Prophetic Decree: The Holy Ghost shall reverse every long time “but” in your life and convert them to testimonies, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I rebuke every evil luggage in my life, in the name Jesus.

2. Altars servicing partial deliverance from my father’s house, roast to ashes, in the name of Jesus.

3. I shake off every long-time subject of ridicule, shame and disgrace that has accompanied my journey in life in Jesus name.

4. Let the thunder of God destroy every altar altering my Divine blue print, in the name of Jesus.

5. Any fire proof aspect of my life, receive liquid fire of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name.
