Bible Reading: 1 Timothy 6: 6-10

Memory VerseFor we brought nothing into thisworld, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 1 Timothy 6:7 (KJV)

  1. Sam, an internet fraudster explained that he had no choice but to sacrifice his friend for money ritual since the “juju” which they refer to as godfather, had chosen him and he couldn’t do anything but give him a befitting funeral. According to him, he went to visit the godfather with three other companions who were also looking for a way to get money, but one of them had to be sacrificed for the scheme to work. He confessed in a honest interview. He further explained, “It could be the reason why you see yahoo boys with flashy automobiles at funerals”. In response to him killing for money, Samson answered, “I didn’t kill him, and there is no proof that I did.” This is a transcendental experience. Some are even turned into cows, and when the animal is slaughtered, so does the person. Weird words!
  • Fresh charges have been slammed on an infamous internet fraudster by the United States prosecutors, accusing him of committing fraud and laundering over $400,000 while in prison. Can you imagine? He committed fraud and money laundering right there at the U.S Federal correctional facility after pleading guilty. The way of the sinner is indeed hard. Sin could be so addictive. Sin is a bondage. Any addiction has a spirit attached.
  • Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in the month of March arrested 17 internet fraud suspects known as Yahoo-Yahoo Boys in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria. Items recovered from them include mobile phones, laptops, and several incriminating documents. The suspects will be arraigned in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
  • You had better be careful of online transactions. Many have lost their monies to fraudsters who appear to be marketing for a company. Look before you leap.

Dear Parents, I know you could have raised your children in the way of the Lord, but, please put strategies in place to be double sure they are still in Christ. Once in a while, pay an unscheduled visit to their school or hostel, put a monitoring app on their phone, check their web history, etc. Furthermore, all ritual killers and internet fraudsters should be aware of their impending doom. You won’t go scot-free killing and stripping people of their legitimate money. Nemesis will surely catch up with you in time and in eternity.
