Bible Reading: John 14:1, Philippians 4: 6-7, 1 Peter 5:7

Memory VerseThe LORD will work out his plans for my life-for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Psalm 138:8 (NLT)

In one of the devotionals of Today’s Word, it reads: “Sometimes we’re frustrated because we’re trying to control things that only God can control. We are trying to figure something out that there is no answer to right now. That’s when we get frustrated and can’t sleep at night. The good news is, God doesn’t ask us to figure everything out. You have to know what’s your job and what’s God’s job. Our job is to believe, our job is to thank God, our job is to walk in obedience. God’s job is to work out situations we do not have control over. You are not on your own.

The Creator of the universe is working out His plan for your life. His job is to open doors we can’t open. His job is to part Red Seas. His job is to heal sick bodies. Are you frustrated because you’re trying to do God’s job? Take the pressure off. You don’t have to make everything happen. You just have to stay faithful, keep being good to people, and keep God first place. Your time is coming. God always works out His plans.”

Friends, peace will come fully into your soul when you relinquish the control of your life to Him who owns you. The Bible says, “The steps of a person are ordained by the LORD–so how can anyone understand his own way?” Proverbs 20:24 (NET). Be anxious for nothing. Know for sure God’s got you. Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you.

Prayer of Surrender: Father, thank You that what lies ahead and is unknown to me is well known to You. I choose to stop trying to control what only You can control and leave it in Your hands. I trust that You will go before me with Your plan and get me to where I’m supposed to be, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Quote: Knowing the difference between what you can change and what you cannot change is an ultimate sign of spiritual maturity.

Prophetic Decree: At the nick of time, God shall appear in your situation, and your testimony shall surprise all, in Jesus name

Prayer Focus

1. Let the thunder fire of God strike down all the altars altering God’s plans for my life, in Jesus name.

2. I bind and cast out the spirit of worry and anxiety, in Jesus name.

3. Every arrow of fear fired into my life, backfire, in Jesus name.

4. I receive wisdom to navigate through life’s challenges in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace to be patient with myself, and with my destiny timing, in Jesus name.
