Bible Reading : 2 Samuel 24:1-18
Memory Verse: I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior. 1 Timothy 2:1-3
Sometimes ago, hunched back demonic men were reported to have been brought from a foreign country as contracted by one tyrant leader. They were to make incantations for many months over the nation which this wicked leader governs.
Demonic covenant with spiritual wickedness in high places have been made by some leaders to put their citizenry in perpetual bondage. At other times, some leaders eat vital organs in some animals e.g. the heart of a lion, after a lot of demonic rituals might have been made, as they seek demonic boldness to rule their citizenry with a fist hand. The blood of innocent men who died during elections in various countries of the world, especially Africa, is crying for vengeance.
Many leaders had looted the treasuries of their nations before relinquishing power to their puppet successor. At other times, these same corrupt leaders just after their tenure ends, immediately “emerge victorious” in another public office that gives immunity to serving public office holders. They do these to prevent their trial. Like David in 2 Samuel 24:18-25, we all need National repentance & restitution as we present ourselves once again as a living sacrifice before our Creator.
