1. A few bite of apple from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil at the garden of Eden led man into a fallen state. If not for the grace that came to mankind through the coming of Jesus, the entire world would have been completely doomed. Did you notice that the first temptation the devil gave to Jesus had to do with food again? He told him to turn stone to bread (Matthew 4). He got the first Adam by the instrument of food, so he came around again to try the second Adam. No wonder the battles that fought the fathers also come around to fight their children. But, your case is different, in Jesus name.

2. Had Esau said no to Jacob’s porridge, he could have preserved his destiny. No thanks to hunger. He did not only eat the food, he sold his birthright in exchange for food. Food turned the first born into the last born. Consequently, he lost a divine heritage.

3. Do you know that one way strange women cage destinies is through food. You haven’t heard of diabolical women who put meat to be served to their prey first inside their undergarment during menstruation before cooking? After some incantation, such a man will always come looking for such women. This is the reason for the uncontrollable sexual attachment some men have towards certain women. Be careful of strange food!

4. The only reason for the powerlessness of some Christians is simply because they haven’t conquered the demon of gluttony. An average Christian should be able to fast (not like the Pharisees) once or twice every week.

Prayer Focus

1. Holy Spirit, please conquer my appetite for food.

2. I cast out the spirit of gluttony, in Jesus name.

3. I recover my destiny from wherever it has been sold as a result of food, in Jesus name.

4. I break the evil authority of any strange woman over my life, in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace to live a fasted life, in Jesus name.
