WHY PEOPLE FALL INTO SEXUAL SIN (2)

WHY PEOPLE FALL INTO SEXUAL SIN (2)

Bible Reading:  1 Thessalonians 4: 3-7

Memory Verse: “Each of you must know how to control his own body in a holy and honorable manner.” 1 Thessalonians 4:4 (ISV)

Satan offers a cup of promised refreshment, but doesn’t disclose the drop of poison in it. He is a master counterfeiter, assuring you that compromise will not kill; you can escape any time you like. Like a fisherman who presents the bait and hides the hook, Satan fishes for us with personalized lures. He has studied you and knows what you like, maybe even more than you do. Satan desires nothing more than to keep you from seeing Christ. So he does all he can to keep your Bible closed, your prayer closet empty, your fellowship shallow, and your trust in God’s promises hollow. Resist him. Other reasons why people fall into sexual sin include:

  1. Indiscipline: When you touch a woman’s breast even when under the anointing, all in the name of praying against cancer or what have you, you lack discipline. The spirit of the prophet must be subject to the prophet. Be wise. Transfer the anointing to her husband’s hands, or your own wife. There is more to physical contact than natural. Furthermore, it takes discipline to fight against sexual temptations. They are everywhere! No wonder Job made a covenant with his eyes. It takes discipline plus God’s grace not to watch pornography or masturbate in the middle of the night. Make a covenant with your eyes, mouth, hand, ears, legs, and above all your heart today. A great man of God said may God strike him with leprosy should he sleep with his wife before marriage. That’s a man committed to sexual purity.

5. Faulty Foundation: Psalms 11:3 (NKJV) says, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”. Do you know that if any of your parents have diseases such as high blood pressure, sugar diabetes, etc, you are a potential candidate of such? If that happens in medical science, how much more in spiritual science? Beloved, if you don’t deal with your evil family pattern, it will likely deal with you. Are your parents alcoholic, polygamist, impatient, usually full of rage, or are they sexually lose? You must consciously and deliberately seek deliverance from such spirits lest, one day, at the peak of success, the same spirit comes for a generational fare.

Quote:  Pornography is satanic discipleship. It trains you to see people and situations in perverted ways and become calloused to the way it grieves God.

Prophetic Decree: I command every foundation supporting sexual sin in your life to crumble, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Rock of ages, cleft for me. Let me hide myself in You.

2. My Father, cloth me with your robe of holiness, in Jesus name.

3. Powers sponsoring sexual immorality in my foundation, die, in Jesus name.

4. I receive the anointing to flee from all appearance of evil, in Jesus name.

5. My destiny, refuse to be trapped in sexual iniquity, in Jesus name.
