Bible Reading: 1 Kings 3:1-15

Memory Verse:How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver! Proverbs 16:16 NIV

I will leave you to chew the cord of these wise sayings meditatively. Please do not rush over it.

1. On God’s manifest presence: God is everywhere, but He does not do everything anywhere.

2. On impact: Before you can be a voice, you must be a source.

3. On tutorship: Training comes before reigning and service comes before relevance.

4. On redemption: Life is short, death is sure, sin is the reason, but Jesus is the cure.

5. On work: Every man’s work is his signature. It is the proof of the grace of God upon your life. Ensure that even when people do not like you, they can’t despise the grace of God upon your life through your good works.

6. On religiosity: Many Christians grow up in church, but never grow up in Christ. They can sing many Hymns but they don’t know “Him”.

7. On God’s presence: When God stands behind you, who dare stand before you.

8. On deliverance: “A problem cannot be solved with the same level of awareness that created it” – Dr D.K. Olukoya

9. On absolute surrender: Find God and men will find you. Be yielded.

10. On obedience: Each step of obedience is a step of promotion. Obedience to God could be very painful and sacrificial.

11. On the Bible: God formed us, sin deformed us, education informs us but only the Bible transforms us – Apostle Johnson Suleman.

12. On being a man: As a man you must have foresight, hindsight and backsight. Masculinity is responsibility.

13. On perspective: All demonic things are negative but not all negative things are demonic.

14. On money: Money is usually attracted not pursued – Jim Rohn.

Prophetic Decree: Receive the wisdom to subdue every facet of your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. The all wise God we thank you.

2. Holy Spirit deliver me from bankrupt of wisdom, in Jesus name.

3. I break the siege of ignorance, in the name of Jesus.

4. I receive divine wisdom to know what to do at any junction of life, in Jesus name.

5. I refuse to be stranded. Life will not relegate me to the backside of the desert, in the name of Jesus.
