Bible Reading: 2 Kings 2:18-22

Memory Verse: Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.'” 2 kings 2:21(NKJV)

A young beautiful lady who does not know how to cook could be said to be wonderfully packaged but empty. Can I tell you the truth? Good food is an answer to some problems in marriage. A young brother who is a graduate but jobless could be said to be wonderfully packaged but empty because life could be frustrating without a means of livelihood. A brilliant student who has acquired many certifications but has an ancestral curse of “thou shall not excel” hanging over his head could be said to be wonderfully packaged but empty, because all his efforts will end in futility. When such a person attends interviews, people without his level of qualification are given the job without any meaningful reason. In our Text, the land of Jericho was wonderful. All the departments of the nation such as commerce, agriculture, education, housing, sport, etc, was going on smoothly but…they do not have good portable water because of an hidden curse working against the land. A prophetic call to Prophet Elisha overturned the situation using a cruse and salt.

Beloved, there are myriads of problems on earth. Their solutions could either be spiritual, physical or the combination of both. For the beautiful lady mentioned above, wisdom demands she enrolls for a cooking class and her marriage will be wonderful and blessed. The aforementioned jobless graduates need the touch of deliverance, and Divine favour. Two things I need you to do. Be very prayerful and keep developing your skills. You must keep adding value to yourself. Both have a place. The right Spirit, and the Right skill!

Quote: It is a terrible thing to be alive but never truly lived.

Prophetic Decree: I scatter every activity of the Wasters and Emptiers in your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

  1. I command a seven fold restoration of anything stolen from my life, in the name of Jesus.
  2. I break by the Blood of Jesus, every hidden curse slowing down my progress in Jesus name.
  3. Father deliver my destiny from powers that want to waste my useful period, in Jesus name.
  4. I receive appetite for continuous development, in Jesus name.
  5. I refuse to be a beautiful carcass, in the name of Jesus.
  6. I command the obituary of every power that want me to be a living-dead, in Jesus name.
