Bible Reading:  Mark 9:23

Memory Verse:  Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.” Mark 9:23 (MSG)

Hello. Calvary greetings to you in the name of the living God. I know sometimes in life you feel that all odds are against you, and you are alone. No dear. All odds are for you. Your testimony will not be rich if all is always well. The ripest mango on the tree is the target for the greatest assault. Think about that.

There is the story of a young intelligent lady from a dysfunctional family.  Her parents were always at loggerhead heads fighting and quarrelling. Parents, please do everything to broker peace in your home. Settle your differences as matured adults – not always shouting or fighting. This young teenager then decided to leave home and travel to a strange land. She dropped out of school for a year. She decided to start life afresh.

One thing led to another, she hawked on the street for a while, worked as a waitress at another time, and finally settled with a family. However, in all of these life challenges, she was desirous of a good education. She wanted to be a Medical Doctor, and kept saving her money towards the noble aspiration. She was eventually enrolled in a Secondary school and wanted to pull out again, save for the timely intervention of her teachers. Today, she has successfully completed her General School Certificate Examination, and she’s rightly positioned to study her desired course.

Lessons

1. Destiny may be delayed but can only be stopped if you permit it.

2. Blame yourself, and not the devil, your parents, the government, your Uncle or any relative if you fail to fulfil your destiny.

N.B Young folks, while I strongly oppose family disunity, please try not to leave your home for an unknown destination.  You may not be so lucky. There are many wolves out there. These are terrible days. Many ended up in prostitution, gambling and other vices when they left the covering of their parents. The other garden may seem greener until you get there and find out that it is full of hidden snakes. Receive grace to tolerate and cultivate your own garden. Children who run away when they are being corrected should also be warned. Children should also learn to pray for their parents.

Quote:  The great secret of getting what you want from life is to stand with God, know what you want and believe you can have it despite all odds.

Prophetic Decree: Nothing shall stop you because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Prayer Focus

1. My Father, heal my home, in Jesus name.

2. Fiery darts of the wicked fired into ny home to disrupt my destiny journey, backfire, in Jesus name.

3. I receive grace to arise above all limitations and challenges, in Jesus name.

4. O Lord, help me to keep my head up above all challenges and problems, in Jesus name.

5. I will not die. My destiny shall not be aborted. My glory shall shine, in Jesus name.
