YOUR ROLE IN NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION (1)

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post November

Bible reading:               Isaiah 58:11-14.

Memory Verse: When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29:2 (NKJV)

“Change starts with you. When you step up, you invite others to step up, too.”- Mandy Hale

“Change starts with you and it doesn’t start until you do”  –  Tom Ziglar.

Nigeria cannot be transformed into a great nation except if we collectively agree to change our

behaviour from “Me-first” to “Nigeria First” – and this we need to do most urgently.

We have to imbibe the spirit of patriotism, discipline, orderliness, focus and sense of community among Nigerians. Good people make a good nation.

Change starts with the little things we decide to do only in the right way to the glory of God and benefit of mankind.

Would you mind turning off the tap gushing water from the government owned public water facility as you go to school. Stop that “I don’t care attitude”. A Christian shouldn’t waste anything. Jesus told his disciples to gather the remnant of the bread and fish which was miraculously provided by God. Nothing must be wasted. See John 6:12.

Action Word:  Don’t expect to see what you don’t change

Prayer Point:

  1. Create I me a new heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me.
  2. Every reluctance to positive change in my life, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
