Bible Reading: Psalm 136: 1-26

Memory VerseLet everything that breathes praise the LORD. Hallelujah! Psalm 150:6 (HCSB)

Sometimes, it could be hard to praise God. All you see are your problems and no miracles at all. The pressures of this life have blindfolded your sense of deep reasoning and balanced judgement. May I inform you today that praising God at such moment could be called ‘a sacrifice of praise. It takes sitting down with a pen and jotter in deep reminiscence to be able to remember the seemingly “very little things” God has done. No wonder the song writer said, “Count your blessings name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.” The human mind is quick to forget many of the blessings of the Lord. This alludes to the reason the Psalmist in Psalm 103:2 says, “Bless the Lord, o my soul and forget not his benefits.” May you not forget the many benefits of the Lord, in Jesus name.

21 Reasons why you should praise God include:

1. For the gift of life. Only the living is conscious of his problems. With Jesus, when there is life, there is still hope.

2. He forgives all your iniquities.

3. He heals all your diseases.

4. He redeems your life from destruction.

5. He crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies.

6. He satisfies your mouth with good things.

7. He renews your youth like the Eagle.

8. He executes righteousness and justice for you when you were oppressed.

9. He always makes His ways known to you.

10. He has been merciful and gracious to you.

11. He is slow to anger when you err, and abounds in mercy to forgive you.

12. He has not dealt with you according to your sins, nor punished you according to your iniquities.

13. His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting.

14. He delivered you from your strong enemies, too strong for you to conquer.

15. He brought you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

16. His daily provisions and miracles.

17. His power to save and deliver you and your household to the outermost.

18. He is too faithful to fail you and He will never fail you.

19. He kept His covenant sure over your life and family.

20. His angelic ministrations and preservation.

21. For He is good and His mercies endures forever.

Quote: God is always worthy of praise. And praise benefits us, too. When we praise God, we make room in our hearts and minds for Him to come in. Praise lifts our spirits and drives away the devil. So sing, dance, or lift your hands – do whatever you can to praise the Lord!

Prophetic Decree: Receive the garment of praise at all times and for all seasons in Jesus name.

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (1)

The Quiet Destroyers are otherwise known as Secret Sins That Ruin Destiny. Many destinies have not been destroyed by loud sins, but by quiet ones. The sins nobody sees. The ones people excuse. The ones hidden behind reputation, ministry, intelligence, or success. Yet heaven sees them clearly. The Bible says, “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Secret sins do not remain secret forever. They slowly weaken the soul until a man who once carried promise begins to lose weight in the spirit...

THE DANGER OF SECRET SIN

Bro. Gbile Akanni once shared a sobering story that has stayed in my heart for many years. He spoke about an elderly evangelist whom God used mightily in the past. In those days there was no television, only radio. When this man of God preached, people would gather around their radios. Sometimes he would say, “Place your hand on the radio.”...
