Nine reasons why you shouldn’t be addicted to casinos, pokers, gambling shops, and dices include:
1. Gambling is the cause of indolence: Gambling affects your life negatively. Regular gamblers miss work occasionally probably because of a late night game at the casino.
2. Gambling results in depression and anxiety: Any attempt to work after a major loss could be futile because you won’t be able to concentrate. Your mind will be preoccupied with the depressing thoughts from the loss. Gambling addiction has the highest number of suicide rates.
3. Gambling deteriorates your physical health: The emotional fall especially from a major loss can have a serious effect on your physical body in a negative way.
4. Gambling makes you selfish, moody and rude: Greed keeps the mind of a gambler engrossed in the imaginary money, ultimately making him selfish. Gamblers don’t think about other people. Their only aim of life is to finance their addiction and to win back their lost money.
5. Gambling will make you lose your friends: Your good friends and destiny helpers will avoid you due to your terrible habit of gambling.
6. Gambling ruins your family: No one wants to be involved with a gambler who is grumpy, unstable and squanders funds. A spouse could file for a divorce or just leave the partner. Children who gamble could also be sent to rehabilitation homes.
7. Gambling induces crime: An impulsive gambler never leaves this addiction even when he is left with no money and instead takes on crime to finance his “very basic need of gambling”. Some people even turn towards domestic violence and torture their spouse on a daily basis.
8. Gambling diverts you from your destiny pursuit, future goals and aspirations: When your life is all about gambling, you lose vigor, motivation, energy and inspiration on your life goals and visions. When you are addicted to gambling, you won’t think about the future. A gambler always lives for the moment and desires only instant gratification to feel what is known as the “gamblers high”. Neglecting aspirations and all future goals is living a worthless life and therefore this is one of the prime reasons you are to avoid gambling.
9. Gambling is a curse that destroys you financially: Gambling can take away hundreds or perhaps even thousands of dollars in no time and add up to your debts. You want to have a life savings, don’t gamble.

1. Thank you Father for the grace you have released to live far above all evil vices, in Jesus name.
2. I break the yoke of addiction to gambling, in Jesus name.
3. I receive the emotional strength to say No to gambling in Jesus name.
4. I receive wisdom to engage only in profitable ventures, in Jesus name.
5. The grip of gambling is broken in my life, in Jesus name.
