Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 15: 14-23
Memory Verse: But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22 (NLT)
There are certain structures that you must deliberately put in place if you must fulfill your destiny. First is the sanity of your family foundation. Secondly, it is the sanity of where you live. A brother wanted to relocate to a bigger accommodation. One day, he went to check out a vacant house. He loved this house. It was his spec. As he was admiring the house, one of the neighbours called him aside and earnestly warned him. “Sir, please don’t come into this accommodation.
No one stays in this house for more than 90 days”. In his spiritual arrogance, he ignored the warning. After all he can pray. He paid for house, prayed some prayers, anointed it, and packed in. Exactly 90 days after he packed in, he came in contact with a strange visitor. This strange visitor was tall and dark. He asked him, “What are you doing in my house, and flunged him into the street”. That was the last time this brother stepped into this house. It was the miscreants in the area who know about the evil house that later came to steal all his properties away. Friend, obedience is better than sacrifice. DON’T WASTE YOUR SPIRITUAL ENERGY FIGHTING SOME USELESS BATTLES.
You are yet to fight to victory your numerous foundational battles, why add environmental battles? That house has been dedicated to an evil strongman. It was later reported that a goat was buried alive while building the house. There are many evil landlords who enjoy mesmerizing the fortunes of their tenants. God will judge them. This brother couldn’t ask for his balance because he had signed a non-refundable contract with the landlord for two years. Be wise. Follow divine instructions diligently. Wisdom is better than strength. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
Balance: This is not to say that there aren’t any good landlord who pray for the prosperity of their tenants. Let God lead you.

Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father for your wisdom.
2. O God, please deliver me from spiritual arrogance.
3. I receive a heart to receive and a will to do what the Holy Spirit is saying to me per time.
4. I receive the miracle of an open eyes, in Jesus name.
5. In Year 2022, I will not be deaf to divine warning, in Jesus name.
