Scripture Reading:    Isaiah 30:21

Memory verse for the week:   Isaiah 30: 21

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. (NKJV)

  1. Through the Bible: 2 Tim. 3:16, 1 Peter2:2.

God speaks primarily through the scriptures. This is the only infallible (unquestionable) way by which God speaks. It is our foundation for faith and life. E.g. A scripture can suddenly “jump out” of your spirit and dissolves the doubt in your heart.

This is the reason why there is a need for us to read our Bible every day & night. Joshua 1:8. The Holy Spirit can only bring the Word of God we had kept in our heart back to our remembrance when situation calls for it. John 14:26.

  • Through the inner witness/ inner knowing. Rom 8:16: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”(NKJV). When the Holy Spirit speaks via this means, the believer has this supernatural witness (knowing) in his spirit about a certain matter; without hearing any voice within or any voice around. It could be an inner witness of peace or fear.

ACTION WORD:       BE SENSITIVE TO HEAR GOD SPEAK.

PRAYER POINT:

1) I receive a listening ear to pay attention to the words of the Holy Ghost through any    means He decides to speak to me, in Jesus name.

2) Every spirit of spiritual dullness in me, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
