Bible reading: Rom. 15:1-2
Memory Verse: “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock “Matthew 7:24 (NKJV).
It is possible to obtain the result of a wise man without being wise. One of the ways to become wise is to identify a wise man and follow his footsteps. It takes wisdom to recognize wisdom. One of the marks of a fool is inability to recognize wisdom. You must strive so that the word, “fool” will not be used to describe you in life Ensure that you are classed among the wise. The foolish man may get things done faster and cheaper by cutting corners but it is not a mark of wisdom because the future does not belong to the man who does things quick. The future belongs to the man who does things right. Doing it right sometimes will take you more time and cost you more money but it secures the future. Quality is cheaper in the long run as it is a mark of foolishness to do something cheap without doing it well. Wisdom thinks of how well a thing can be done and not how cheap it can be done.
God is the source of wisdom. The fear of God differentiates wisdom from smartness and intelligence. Wisdom is a Spirit that can be contacted through association and relationships.
There is a place of wisdom in faith that determines our outcome as believers. The God of wisdom stabilises our faith. Sometimes the devil wants us to act foolishly like a man who had an accident and was bleeding but refuse to be treated because his church does not believe in medicine. This is an incomplete faith as it lacks practical wisdom. The failure of his faith brought him into crisis and such people make unbelievers think that Christians are fools. I believe that medicine is God’s provision of Divine wisdom to help our faith. Even though medicine may not help you solve the problem permanently, it helps you to remain alive while your faith is being built.

Prayer Point Lord, I pray for a fresh baptism of the Spirit of wisdom. Help me to understand the interplay of wisdom and faith in my Journey of destiny for maximum and positive outcome in Jesus’ name. Amen.
