DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post March

Saturday, 18th March, 2017.

Bible reading: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

Memory Verse: Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. 1 Cor. 6:18 (NLT)

It was in an Urban school in one of the major cities. The school has got 3 floors of 3m each height. Mr. Tade suddenly strolled out on a duty schedule. He saw a sight that gripped him just by the mango tree. It was Sonde, one of the school prefects who was lost in masturbation. He felt save from the rest of the world under the tree forgetting that the school has got many floors. He must have suddenly dashed out right in the middle of a lesson to satisfy this overbearing urge.

Mr. Tade noticed that Sonde kept his gaze on a lady about a kilometre away as he continued in this act of personal bondage and pseudo sexual fantasy.

From experience, it was obvious to Mr. Tade that it was the sight of the lady that provoked the urge in Sonde even during a Mathematics class.

Without any doubt, Sonde must have been involved in the consumption of pornographic materials only to his own self destruction and inability to concentrate.

Masturbation is a bondage. There’s an evil spirit in charge of this evil act. Both young and old, some students and some teachers are under the spell of this self-destructive bondage. The spirit captures the mind of her victims and wouldn’t easily let go.

Quote:  Masturbation is a product of lust. It reveals the dirt that is already in our hearts.

Prophetic Word: Yoke of masturbation, break, in Jesus name.

Prayer points

1. Fire of deliverance, burn away every shackle of masturbation, in my life, in Jesus name.

2. Yoke of masturbation, break, in Jesus name.
